/n
Overall, I found this essay to be extremely interesting. I especially liked how Camus tied in Sisyphus’ story to the human condition as a whole. I found his exploration of the three consequences of the absurd to be especially insightful.
Analysis of D-day, June 6, 1944: The Climatic Battle of World War Ii by Stephen E. Ambrose Essay Sample
Ambrose did an excellent job in providing a detailed, step-by-step account of the events that unfolded on D-Day. He was able to successfully show the readers the different points of views of the Germans, the Allies, and even the Russians. His writing style was able to keep readers engaged and wanting to know more about the battle. One thing I would have liked to see more of was pictures or maps of the battle. Ambrose did provide a few pictures, but I feel like it would have been more beneficial to see visuals of what he was talking about. Overall, the book was excellent in providing detail and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in World War II or history.

The mother’s language in both cases are not English which becomes a barrier and the child is ashamed of it. The difference is that in ‘Mother tongue’ the author is Chinese and does not know English while in the story ‘Paper Menagerie’ the author is American and his mother is Chinese. The story reflects the struggles that an American child of immigrant parents face. The essay is about the author’s personal struggle of growing up with a mother who could not speak English. The society’s perception of immigrants is also talked about.
