The author also argues that Victor’s hidden guilt for the deaths of William and Justine rendered him unable to find happiness or return to who he was before their deaths. Ultimately, the author argues that Victor’s loss of hope is seen most clearly in his total lack of hope for his life.

Animal abandonment is a huge issue in today’s society. Millions of stray animals roam the streets with no proper food or shelter. The consequence for this is a fine that ranges from $50-500 and or imprisonment up to 30 days. However, there should be a bigger repercussion for such inhumane behavior. The abandonment of an animal should be a felony in all states with imprisonment up to 3 years.
