Good	I bought 21 books for end of school year. 3 were not in condition to give to a student. But otherwise good experience.

Great condition, but slow delivery	The condition was like new, and came with an unopened pack of tabs. No visible wear or tear. Now the delivery, it did arrive within the expected time frame. However, in total I ordered 5 books from 5 different sites on the same day. And actually, I ordered this one the day before at 9:30pm, but since it was late at night, I’m going to count it with the others. This book came in 4th place, arrived 1 day after the other 3. Find another broker. ECampus will lie and cheat in every way to steal from you	This is a horrible company, I’m not sure how they’re operating. It took 3 months and constant daily calls and e-mails to receive a PayPal payment for two hardcover textbooks I sold to them. If I hadn’t called every day I never would have gotten my payment. Every time it was a new excuse, and every week it was “I see that it was just added to the accounting books, we will be issuing payment asap. Please allow 2 to 3 business days”. Over two months of this. Don’t use eCampus. I’m going to be filing a complaint with the BBB as well.

Disappointed in eCampus	I ordered this book for a summer class. I was told it would take 4 to 8 business days to receive. The book shipped on June 3 and I have yet to receive it. The tracking number shows that it is sitting somewhere in Georgia with no expected delivery date. It is now too late to be of any use for my class. If I could give this company zero stars, I would	DO NOT USE eCAMPUS! This company is very sneaky with how they advertise on their website. I purchased a book that advertised in the title that it would include an access code, where I can access my assignments and homework. Later, I discovered after receiving my book via UPS with NO access code, that they put in SMALL print that access codes may or may not come with books that are rented. Then when I tried to return the book to get my hard-earned money back, eCampus stated they will not be refunding my full amount back due to their “restocking fee.” NEVER WILL I USE eCAMPUS AGAIN and neither should you. This company claims on their website they are here to help students get college books for a cheaper price. Well fellow students, this company is not helping us out! They are banking on you not seeing the small print so they can pocket some of your money. The books I received were as described and arrived on time in the condition they were described. Other stores charged double if not more for the same books. ECAMPUS is not a reliable company at all	I would say ECAMPUS is not a reliable company at all. The first time I placed an order for rental, and they charge me right away. Before placing an order, I asked the customer care executive about the availability of a specific book, and they said they have enough books in stock. However, I received this email right after placing an order. The email states that “Due to a change in availability from our supplier, the following items have yet to arrive in our warehouse” I was like ok I guess I will wait, but next thing I know they cancel due to billing information. So, I called the customer care executive and asked them why did they even charge me if my billing information is not the same. How come the bank let you authorize the payment from my card. Next thing I know, I have to place another order. Worse part yet to come, they raise the rental price with $6 within 24 hours, and the customer care executive said I have to place another order with a new price, which is ridiculous. Furthermore, when I placed another with a new higher price, again, I receive this email that my order is delayed. What going on? Are you even a genuine company? Or it is a SCAM ECAMPUS CURRENTLY HOLDING MY $112 AND THERE IS NO BOOK COMING. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. IF I DO NOT RECEIVE MY MONEY ON TIME, I WILL Definitely REPORT THIS COMPANY TO BUSINESS BUREAU.

This company is a scam stay away	Its now been 8 weeks since they had my book and ive been told numerous times id get a call back fro a supervisor, it never happened. They still lie as to where my book is. They claim the publisher has the book and when i call them they say they never received it. The publisher even call ecampus to find out what happened and ecampus says they sent it to the wrong address. So now their really lying as to where my book is and this is all over 5 bucks. Stay away from this scam company there are better ones out there.
Walk away, order elsewhere	Don’t order here. I place an order for a school book at the end of July, they billed me the same day. Then I got an “unexpected order delay” email. Almost 3 weeks later, still no book, school starts in 2 days. I canceled, and now I get to pay rush shipping from someone else. Terrible service. Wonder how long the refund will take? Save yourself, and just order somewhere else at the beginning.
Says items are in stock, when they are not.	Tried to order a book that they seemingly had in stock, only to call them and learn that they didn’t have it in stock to begin with. I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. They cancelled the order, but my Paypal account doesn’t show the amount I paid has been refunded. ECampus says it takes 3-5 business days to show up, however Paypal says it should have showed up right away. Paypal suggested filing a dispute, but when I told them about other people who’ve had similar problems with eCampus, they immediately elevated it to a claim. Now I have to possibly wait till November 26th to see my refund. Also customer service didn’t seem to know how Paypal works, since an agent said they’ll deny the claim because they said they issued the refund and thought that would be it. Even though I told them that a Paypal agent assured me that they didn’t issue a refund in the first place, hence why the claim was started. I guess my next call will be to the Better Business Bureau since it seems like they’re scamming me and others out of money.
Awful service that put me under pressure	This is such a crappy, over priced and inefficient service. My course started on January 14th so I ordered the textbook that same day… it’s a rental for over $40 for the semester ( rip off)… it has taken 2 weeks to come! I’m still waiting for the book! Should have researched the company before purchasing	I placed my order on Monday, June 10th and was aware of the special processing or 1 to 2 weeks. Three weeks (only counting business days), I had to reach out myself to learn that there was a delay. No notice prior to that. It is going on another week (only counting business days) where I was told I would receive 2 day shipping. No, I don’t want a refund, I just want what I purchased.

I attend a school with over 50k students, so I do not question if they sale authentic books. FRAUDS! THIEVES!	I got informed that I got in the program on Friday really late and had orientation at my law school on Monday. Panic mode activated! Law School bookstore closed for the weekend so I ordered 3 books from eCampus with Next-day Shipping on a Friday. Cost of books +$60 dollars for the shipping. Got the first book on Tuesday evening – Already got yelled at by the professor. I understand, it happens with online shopping – you come across dishonest vendors all the time. I deserved it! When did not get the other two books by Wednesday, went and bought them through the Law School bookstore. Got the second book delivered on Thursday. Got the third book delivered TWO WEEKS LATER! Tried contacting eCampus. No response. Contacted PayPal, no help. ECampus is a fraud. Don’t buy or rent books from them.

This company is a scam.	This company is a scam. They say they have books even when they have no idea whether they can get the book or not. I ordered a book well in advance of a class with RUSH shipping, and then got an email a couple days before class started saying their supplier didn’t have it and they didn’t know when they could get it. By that time it was too late to order from anywhere else online and get it in time for my class. If these weren’t textbooks they were selling it wouldn’t be such a big deal, but students need to know they will get the book they ordered in time for their class.
They are thieves.	If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I sold a book to them in December and received an email in January stating that the book was “under review”. I sent them an email stating that I want my book back, and they said I would have to pay them shipping to receive my book. Now, 4 months later, they are saying that they never received my book, my email confirmations were in error and there is nothing they can do. I recommend reading the reviews before conducting business with this company. I am not the first person to complain that they lie and steal from their customers. If you want to buy or sell a book, go somewhere else. It’s very likely they will just steal from you.

Awful Company that will use your credit card if number is store	Purchased books from a year prior, sent them back on the rental plan. They said they would not refund any of the money because they did not get them back in time and charged $400 on my credit card that was used in my prior purchase. I don’t use the card ever because the interest rate. Had to notify my credit card company that I did not authorize this transaction. After the credit card investigation, they removed the charge, but I still paid interest for that amount for 3 months. Beware that if you make a purchase from them to cancel your credit card after the purchase or they will freely use the card in the future!
Bad Delivery and Low Stocks	Their customer service people promise that a book will be available soon and when you order it in advance, they tell you that the book might not be available for a few days. The delivery is never on time, and you waste your time tracking your shipment every day.

They say my book was damaged when I returned it and are charging me $$	This was my first and LAST time I will every use this site. In the past I have always used Amazon and Barnes and Noble but for this book there were no rentals available. I returned the book last week and just received an email that the book was damaged. I called and they said there was water damage and the spine was broken which is a lie. When I placed the book in the box it was in the same condition I received it in. They now want to charge me 50% more to replace it. Be aware this site is a scam – I will NEVER use them again and I will make sure I post and tell everyone the same thing. Stole my binder 🙁	Sold a book that was a looseleaf text in a binder. It was the exact ISBN of the hardcover text, they made no distinction on the site when I was selling. I wasn’t mad that they cancelled the order since they only wanted the hardcover text (was annoyed when customer service insinuated purposefully sent a different ISBN claiming it was the hardcover, but not a big deal). I was also happy they agreed to waive the $10 fee to have my book shipped back to me (because having me pay to get something you reject back would be absurd). The reason I’m giving a one star review is that they sent the text back… BUT STOLE THE BINDER. They literally removed the loose-leaf pages from the binder, put a flimsy rubber band around them, and shipped it back to me. That’s ridiculous. Wrong book, bad customer service	This was my first time ordering a book from eCampus.com. My book arrived and was the wrong edition. I emailed the customer service team in hopes that they would respond quickly and fix my problem. In my experience of online shopping, other sites reply right away with quick emails. I never even got a response back from the eCampus.com customer service! Unfortunately, I am just going to return the book while still wasting money on shipping and handling! Dishonest shipping speed	I ordered a college textbook from ecampus and selected 2-day shipping for an additional $16+. Later on I went to check the status of my order, and to my surprise it stated something along the lines of, “Shipping 3-5 business days.” So I started chatting with ecampus, and it turns out the 2-day shipping I paid for only kicks in AFTER the 3-5 business days. What a ripoff! Needless to say I cancelled my order.
SCAM COMPANY	Wish I could give them negative stars. They cancelled my husbands order 3 times but sent him a confirmation email on each order. Finally I had to order the book with a different credit card. There was nothing about the user agreement when I purchased. The semester finished, I forgot about the book. They were sending emails to the address I no longer use and then told me I’d be charged for the full price. I sent the book back immediately after I realized. Called multiple times to ask about my return, no answer, ever. Emailed them, got back to me days later saying I could only qualify for 50% back if it was received and processed in their system by 15 days past due. It was too late by the time I sent it. They took the book back, no emails saying they received it and no return. Looked online just curious how much they would’ve bough it back for. 5$. FIVE DOLLARS for a book they charged me 260$ for without notifying me. Currently disputing with my bank. Worst customer service I’ve ever heard of. Scam company.
THEY CANCELED ORDER NINE DAYS AFTER PURCHASE	Purchased book on December 21st (order #7983598) they stated they had in stock – NINE DAYS LATER, yes, NINE DAYS LATER they email me saying they don’t have the item and cancel the order. If that wasn’t bad enough, they then tell me it will be another TEN DAYS (7 business days) for me to get my refund. They are unprofessional and I will never do business with them or bookbinder.com again – how can they be trusted?
Poor shipping policy for books	Let me state right off that ecampus is not truthful about their shipping policy and needs to update the amount of time it takes. I fully understand how COVID has affected life as we have known it, including all business’s and shipping, but a blanket statement like” please be aware that COVID has affected the length of time for order processing and shipping.”, quite honestly does not cut it anymore. Ecampus has never been known to get their books out to students in a timely manner so why do they continue with the current policy of 2 days to get the order ready and and average of 6 days to get the merchandise to the customer? My current order had only a shipping label made (from both DHL and USPS tracking), had not been processed and no shipping company had picked it up yet after 6 business days. Yet the order online stated that it had been shipped, the day after I ordered. Very simply a lie. When I inquired about the delay in processing/shipping all I got was a canned reply that the order had shipped via DHL Global Mail, DHL tracking does show that it was received by DHL, a full 6 business days after ordering. Remember 2 days to process? Because it took ecampus 6 days to process and get to DHL even after selecting and paying for “expedited” shipping. Now we will see how much longer that the promised “expedited” shipping takes? So ecampus here is a small business tip from an elder, for you. It’s called under promising and over delivering instead of over promising and under delivering. Example: you over promise your processing and shipping as approximately 8 days total, when in fact it is now averaging, let’s say, double that at 16 days. It has taken twice as long as your stated policy. Do you think that this will make your customers happy, ecampus? Do you care if your customers are happy, ecampus? So why not try under promising your processing/shipping policy instead? If you think current conditions are going to affect your policy…change it! If, after researching how long the average takes is indeed 8 days, try changing your policy to read that it will take an average of 16 days for your product to arrive to the customer. If after doing this it only takes 8 days to arrive how do you think this would make your customers feel? Happy that it arrived early or unhappy about it? Please ecampus, consider trying something different with your outdated processing and shipping policy and start making your customers happy campers about doing business with you. Tip for consumers:Double the shipping time for a “marketplace” order, which is merely an excuse that customers do not want to hear from ecampus. If processing/shipping for a “marketplace” order takes longer, WHY DOESNT YOUR UPFRONT ODERING/PROCESSING/SHIPPING POLICIES STATE THAT TO BEGIN WITH??? Horrible	I ordered my book on a Friday, and on Monday I received an email stating that they had cancelled my order due to “irregularities”. I checked my account, and they had of course already taken the money. So I called customer service, and the representative stated that the “irregularities” is due to capilzation and punctuation when submitting my payment information and it’s extremely sensitive. This is new to me, so I asked what my options are now to rent the book, as I needed it ASAP and it has been cancelled, and she said I had to wait 48 hours to redo my order, but could not give an explanation why! So they still have my money, and I am now stuck trying to find another book.

I rented a book for a summer study abroad program in…	I rented a book for a summer study abroad program in May, 2014. Received the book in a decent time frame, however it was the wrong book. The isbn sticker/barcode was placed over the original isbn/barcode and did not match the original which i found for myself on the publisher page(at this point i have no time to order a new book and had to leave for the Czech Republic without it). The companywas helpful initially and refunded my rental fee as they did not actually have the book I originally ordered. So, I printed the return label, and dropped the book off at the UPS store i always use, down the street from my house. I left for my program and didn’t think about it again. In august(THREE MONTHS LATER!) i got a notice they never received the book and consequently, ecampus took 132 dollars out of my bank account while I was disputing the issue with them. Honestly, i’m not even sure which book they charged me for: the one they actually sent or the one they were SUPPOSED to send in the first place. It was a pretty terrible experience, not even my bank was able to successfully get my money back.
