Another strong point is that these ads are not only damaging to the individual, but to family and friends as well. Gambling can cause a lot of conflict and tension within relationships. I think the essay could have gone into more detail about the financial effects of gambling addiction. Overall, I think the essay makes a strong case for banning gambling advertising.
