Analysis of The Relationship Between George Milton and Lennie Small Essay Sample

Overall, I thought that the essay did a good job of exploring the relationship between George and Lennie. I especially liked the analysis of how loneliness can lead to depression, and how a good friendship can help to overcome this. However, I felt that the essay could have been more critical in its review of the novel. For example, it could have explored the ways in which Steinbeck’s depiction of friendship is problematic.
