Overall, the essay does a good job of highlighting the various ways in which income inequality affects Americans, both socially and economically. However, I felt that it could have gone into more detail in certain areas, specifically in terms of solutions that could help to close the income gap and reduce poverty levels. Additionally, the essay could have been more concise, and could have benefitted from being edited for grammar and clarity.
